At Little Pipers we feel passionate about nourishing the hearts of the children in our community. We want the children that participate in the choir to not just learn to sing, but to be filled with joy and friendship. Through choosing quality choral literature, folk songs, and games we will work on improving intonation, musicality, weight, color and agility of the voice. In addition to these goals, emphasis will be given to developing friendship and community as a choir. Children will receive engaging home assignments meant to bring music into your home in an approach that is fluid to a family's routines and low-stress to the family. Admission is free. Donations are welcome and any contributions will be used first for supplies for the choir such as music, equipment, instruments, etc, and secondly to an organization called Kiva(see Kiva.org-- an international small loan organization).
